This album is like a warm blanket. The melodies surround you, smothering you in warm tones with some cutting synth work that just adds to the overall experience. I dig it a lot, songs like sobani iru just work so well. Brings a tear to my eye.
Fantastic album. I often find that instrumental albums get relegated to being background music, simply by not being interesting enough, but Yumegatari has safely escaped this. I found the album touching, every moment hinting at an emotion I'm not sure I can describe, and all adding up to create a really sweet, genuine experience. I'm not sure I've heard anything quite like it before, and the only way I will again is by relistening to the album.
