It's alright. It feels like this album is scared to go too far out there, and the most interesting portions of this album are condensed to small parts of songs. The panning is also extremely odd as the vocals are heavy in your right until a few songs in where everything is centered. I don't really know what to make of this album other than it's "good". love the quirky and frantic lyricism that dances around chaotic jumbled phrases and heartfelt messaging's of memories lingering on in such inescapable ways. it dances around these super fun energetic riffs and settlefish easily transforms this into dramatic spirals of pure emotion which is emphasized by their twinkly guitar noodles. it's some seriously tight and well recorded stuff, every instrument is mathematically pawesum :P I think the lyrics do get a tad miffy at times but ... read more
