Nitepunk moves in a more atmospheric and techno-influenced direction his latest EP, slightly sanding off some of the harshest edges of his style, but more than making up for it by keeping his texture game at the high level we've come to expect from him at this point. While it lacks any extremely strong hooks, it more than makes up for it in the fun factor for me.
No Manners: 7.9/10
fresh to death w/dami: 8.2/10
Expand w/Harrison Clayton: 8.5/10
What I Need: 8.5/10
SPILL w/SOH SOH: 8.1/10
Lawless wears its influences on its sleeve a bit, but what wonderful splashes of influential color it samples. There is not a real standout track on the EP, but rather a cohesive mix of vibes and experimentation that lands.
