Easy Password is an underground dubstep artist that I was introduced to earlier this year by a good friend of mine. He specializes in colour bass, a subgenre that is certainly past its prime in terms of popularity, but there's still tons of artists out there in the underground making it to this day. Easy Password has outdone himself here. One of the most exciting and promising upcoming colour bass artists, for sure.
The production on this album is so immaculately clean. I am not kidding when I say the percussion is INCREDIBLE. It's so varied. I mean, this motherfucker uses a VOCAL SAMPLE as a snare in 'Parallax'. And, its not just from track to track, within tracks there is a constant movement that never feels jarring and makes each track feel like it's own journey. ... read more
