This is such happy serotonin music. The vibes are so upbeat and happy. I’m not really sure how to describe this style of music. It’s a bit like The Lumineers meets The Happy Fits (aka right up my alley) I don’t think there’s a ton of depth to the lyrics, but that’s not the point- the point is a feeling and the feeling is just unbridled joy and nostalgia. This isnt good. Ive never heard an album that suffers more from every-song-sounds-the-fricking-same sydrome than this... thing that was made for some reason. Track after track it is the same man with an annoying voice over the exact banjo. Like, banjos are cool but NOT ON EVERY SONG IN THE ALBUM. It is an uninteresting, bland project which has no redeeming qualities.
