The production and songwriting are very strong and fairly neutral. Everything is clearly audible, which is necessary because there are occasional thrashy and metalcore-like influences throughout the album. I think the vocals fit very well in the first part of the album. There is very little reverb on the voice, which makes everything feel more vulnerable and intimate.
