The production and songwriting are very strong and fairly neutral. Everything is clearly audible, which is necessary because there are occasional thrashy and metalcore-like influences throughout the album. Usually when bands don’t take themselves too seriously, you can also hear that in the overall quality of the album. But I was genuinely shocked at how insanely good this record turned out, especially with those electronic beats. Nuclear Dudes may have started as a one-man project, but on Truth Paste it’s a two-man band with guest vocals — and the result is fantastic. Really glad I got to discover this duo."
