Fifth album for the English band Ist Ist.
The most classic Post-Punk blended with Gothic Rock and some Darkwave vibes.
It’s hard to distinguish one track from another; the atmosphere is that, and it never really changes, even just to add a bit of movement.
The approach is very “old school”; the monotonal vocal delivery works, but if nothing else varies around it, track after track, it risks dragging you down.
