I'm really sad how this band got shafted to pretty much not cause competition for Paramore. :( They had a lot of potential to be really big and good. We need more female rock artists!!!!!!!

Mythical sounding pop emo rock, VersaEmerge uses a combination of catchy guitar hooks and piano to create really memorable songs that stick in your head but also have some substance behind them. The magnum opus being the final track that combines snippets from all previous songs on the album. It's not groundbreaking but it's extremely cool!

A Fueled By Ramed product, that (it must be said) rode the Paramore wave of the time, we find here the punk-emo side of Franklin's band, to which is added a more "cinematic" sound à la Evanescence. The production is quite good, although a little too flat sometimes due to the (over)use of semi-acoustic guitars (the chorus of Stranger for example). It remains an enjoyable album to listen to, even if very much rooted in the early 2010s.
