Dude is drumming his fingers in a jazz bar & going home to drum folks out the back of his car. It's lowkey & understated, as opposed to the raps, which is plentiful and very over. That said, it's hard to shake the feeling Marci can only hang out the backwindow, 40-gallon drum in hand, because the car is on autopilot.
Roc Marciano is back with a new album, and he delivers exactly what you’d expect from him. 656 is fully on that drumless sound again, and it still works perfectly for him. He has a really good ear for production, but all the samples and loops were really short. No matter how interesting a clip sounds, everything gets incredibly repetitive.
