I think the order of this split should have been reversed. Heavens Die does a good job of building anticipation, but chooses to deliver on silence. Almost as a form of protest we get the space to reflect after the decimation, but I think flipping would have showcased Sinster feeling as this final stamp on a spacious and matured release. Unfortunately in this order we are left wondering what Heavens Die was trying to do here.
A hard hitting and energetic split EP from Sinister Feeling and Heavens Die even though I think it could've been constructed in a more cohesive manner
seems to be overhated, Sinister Feeling’s side is great but ignoring the masterful “The River” is crazy… the sludgecore tension makes it easily the best track on here. though i think with Heavens Die having the best track, i still love Sinister Feeling’s side more. two fantastic mosh powerviolence tracks and that Electric Wizard cover is not to be slept on. one of my fav splits to come out of my scene.
