These are songs that linger in the liminal emotional spaces between hookup sex and monogamy, between friendship and love.

This is an album that to me stands above the rest of their discography. It is a well rounded concise project, one of the best and most wngaging dreamy electropop records recently. Some of their records are better than others this one is the least corny
From begin to end it's a ride filled with bumpy and wavy tunes that can be enjoyed either actively or passively. However it's hard not to bop your head to songs like HER and HEAVEN AND BACK. The combination of synth and saxophone have definitely burrowed themselves in my head and will be stuck in my brain many times in the future.
All in all big vibes with PHASES
after the BEAUTY IN DEATH release, this album lost a little of his charm for me.. but it still a great album, it's enjoyable to listen, relaxing, dancing.. has some 80s music styles and The Weeknd's influences, but the worst thing on this album it's the track TOO LATE, with generic and edgy lyrics and generic trap instrumental
