This Pike has a very emotional vibe to it, likely due to the fact that this was the Pike released just before Buckethead's hiatus from releasing new material so that he could focus on touring for the rest of 2018 and the majority of 2019. It's another one of those Pikes that I would usually call a "Colma clone," but this one is actually really good. Like, REALLY good. Manic, all over the shop, shredding, thrashing, delicate parts. No theme is stuck to for longer than a few bars. It's almost like free form jazz. He doesn't even name the tracks. The technical skill is very impressive, and for the odd fleeting moment a cool riff might be stumbled upon, but don't expect it to be repeated much.
