Was Peter Cetera the real-life villain that everyone interpreted him back in the 1980s? I don't think so.
Is he still one of the worst and most boring artists of the decade? Yes.

No matter how many times I think I'm ready for Cetera I quickly realize I am not. Furthermore, it is doubtful that I will ever be ready for Cetera. However herein lies my contradiction: Cetera with Chicago is enjoyable.

The solo-career of Peter Cetera feels like what he was doing with chicago juste before he left the band. But, it's without what made chicago so unique. I'm talking about this jazz-drums style. Cetera's album feels a bit generic but it still is very good pop
