The dubstep here is much better than the previous ep but like idk, it's also not all that original
Better than the previous ep but FAR from good.
The mixing is still not good and the overall sound quality is not great. I’ve heard some of these sound be used on tracks all the way from 2019 and yet they sound WORSE on this ep.
And NO, the space laces track does not clear the board, if anything the SVDDEN DEATH collab is the only track I can really recommend. If you ask me it’s the worst of their collabs.
whilst not as grating of an experience as DOOM 1, DOOM 2 here is still pretty sluggish. not very many entertaining ideas are on show at all, and i don’t think the collaborators did a whole lot to lift this project up either. Space Laces being on this, for example, was cool but his sound didn’t provide much umph to HEAVYWEIGHT in my opinion.
