The continuing changes in personnel started to affect the quality of the product and what would be the last ever album reached a level of genteel maudlin which bordered at times upon coming across as lethargic indifference. Pared back to a trio, the departure of singer Simon Phipps left the mantle of lead creator to move onto the shoulders of guitarist, Mark Peters.
