f(x)’s follow-up to Pink Tape, this month’s Red Light, arrives surrounded by high expectations from K-pop fans, and this 11-song affair isn’t as front-to-back solid as its predecessor. Yet what it lacks in overall cohesion is made up for by some of the most well crafted pop of the year.

Eh. Just some superficial K-pop to me. I can get why people like it, but I am not all that smitten by this cotton candy, unicorns and rainbows pop. It's not for me.
Quite easy to imagine why so many people have this album in their top 10 3rd gen Kpop albums. Especially with a song like Butterfly??? peak
