There's a reason why even Whitehouse fans don't like Halogen. When it comes to fans of noise and power electronics, there's a clear divide between those who adore Whitehouse and those who dislike them because they're extremely boring. Whitehouse being my favorite band, I feel like I've awarded them with a ridiculous charity that I've given to no other artist. I thought Right to Kill was a good album, I gave Psychopathia Sexualis a mediocre score rather than a negative score and I gave Total Sex a near 8/10.

Halogen is widely panned as Whitehouse's worst modern album, but is it really that bad? Upon listening to it, I have come to the conclusion that no, its pretty decent. This album is definitely and obviously less eventful and more quiet than the average Whitehouse release.
