The infectious lyrical stylings we come to adore from Of Mice & Men get their pedestal they deserve on this self-titled. Although the melodies are as sweet as sugar by track 11 it feels a little 1 dimensional with the same vocal modulations and notes sang throughout most of the album. I mean it never gets old... but when placed next to each other in succession you end up missing that break of clean vocals you got with the full band.
