That makes for a real oddity -- the soundtrack to one of the most emotionally wrenching films of the late '90s is curiously bloodless and unengaging.

I love John Williams, but unfortunately, this is one of his more forgettable pieces.
Standouts: Hymn To The Fallen, Omaha Beach, Hymn To The Fallen (Reprise)
