I really wasn't interested in listening to BONES UK any further but YuriDING encouraged me to try this EP out and thank god they did.
BONES UK strips back a handful of tracks from their pummelling self-titled album and does it surprisingly well. The versions on here of the songs that I liked from their album like Pretty Waste didn't do much for me as I much prefer the hard-hitting versions of these tracks. LEAST FAVORITE TRACK: Pretty Waste
Ok this is my first time listening to bones uk so I know it's weird that I started with an unplugged album but it's fine. The lead singer of this duo has a crazy unique voice. At times, like on Pretty Waste, it can be kind of annoying but I think when it's over slower songs it sounds better. Black Blood and Souls are great, especially the violin solo on Souls. I really enjoyed this EP because you could actually hear more of the music and Rosies voice, since it wasn't as overproduced as their other stuff.
