Levels by AKA is Arguably one of the most influential and monumental hip hop albums to have come out of South Africa and the African continent . It brought about a new flair of hip hop curation and a cultural shift on the continent which is still being built on to this day .

Finished my relisten. This album has some great songs but it gets weighed down by others that aren't as memorable. It's a good hip hop album overall. Run Jozi, Sim Dope and All Eyes One Me are all anthems with phenomenal catchy hooks and production.
This was the first album I ever called my own, as a 10-year-old I would spend most nights plying it at my ear with the phone speaker just before I slept. And as it ages, it cements itself as one of a kind and era defining.
It doesn't get better than this in SA Hip-Hop. Probably never will.
