Lightless

I clearly enjoyed this more the first few times I heard it 5 or so years ago. This hasn't aged well along with my tastes. The songs don't feel like anything is going on, except for the very excellent tune "Cave In". The songs plod along with nothing really dynamic to point at and say "Oh, wow!". Production is a bit stifling and doesn't leave room for the songs to breathe. All in all I end up just waiting for this to end. A little bit boring.
