Mastermind is definitely improvement from Eptic's other work. He seems to be getter a better grasp on making enjoyable dubstep with each release as in this one it is able to entertain the listener a lot more. Still contains a ton of flaws as it's very basic and wouldn't really be that great if it was released today, but for 8 years ago it's pretty good.
A step up from Like A Boss in the simplest sense of for the most part dropping that shitty duplicate drops thing. Also there is definitely more variety here.
