Besides "Punks and Poets," 2 is forgettable debut EP. Elliot Root's bland and uninspired instrumentation and vocals drag the project from promising to boring. It feels as if I've heard this so many times before due to the typical folk-rock sound. The strongest aspect of this album is Scott Krueger, the lead vocalist, and his falsetto. However, it is barely heard throughout the 17 minutes that this EP runs. Thoroughly disappointing listen.
