A rough version of The Weakerthans, no doubt, but I kind of like that side of them. It rocks all the way through, slowing down only for the few beautiful ballads it generously gives a home to. "Wellington's Wednesday" and "Confessions...." are some of the best rock numbers they ever penned. "Oh you blue eyes, oh you got green eyes, oh you got grey eyes!" Great start to the incredible discography of The Weakerthans. The soft songs are beautiful and the loud songs are rocking. It's a little rough around the edges but nothing The Weakerthans wouldn't iron out during their impressive decade-long run.

This album is amazing. No bad songs. I appreciate the propagandhi covers because I got into these guys through them.
