A quintessential feel-good future funk record. Lots of enjoyable tunes that don't burden themselves by trying to be too deep or complex, but instead revel in the fun of the music.
An somewhat enjoyable electronic album, certainly made to be easy to dance to. While "Sample Heaven" is solid in it's rhythmic elements and production I struggled to find much here that really moved me. Sample Heaven's lyrical use in particular was somewhat repetitive, and while I don't shy away to lyrics based on repetition alone, these felt a little too uninteresting to get behind. Pretty decent, collab heavy project from Mere Notilde. Unlike previous projects, this one features various singers and artists such as Phaun, Barbwalters, etc. To be honest, I come back more for the instrumental cuts like the title track or "Since I Left You". The ones with vocals aren't bad, but they just don't grab my attention like the ones without. I will say "Six Days" is probably the best one of these vocal tracks that are the exception to the rule.
