With a lot of different genre fusions at play like vapor, IDM, glitch, and hip-hop, Combat Surf proves to be a very enjoyable high-energy, mixtape-like album. It definitely does not leave much room to be bored, constantly introducing new ideas that all fit together well in the album flow.

The heavy atmosphere of this record is enthralling and effective, with a plodding aggression that keeps you engaged. The undertones of post-metal and doom give this album a great personality.
Favorite tracks: Blind, Seething and Scattered, Last Light
Truly a one-of-a-kind album that's sort of hard to quantify as every listen through will by nature be different in terms of pacing and all that. That being said, it's still got some excellent crunchy sound design and spacey surreal atmosphere, and the concept behind it gives it a lot of points.
