All in all, Push The Heart is an admirable, sometimes striking record from a band with a few of those now in their catalog. If Devics can push their sound a little further next time, they may have a classic on their hands.

With more variation, more separation in the mix, and a bit more conviction and passion overall, Push the Heart would be easier to recommend. As it stands, it's just a slightly-better-than-average indie chamber pop excursion.

Suffering only slightly from any kind of slump, Push the Heart is an enjoyable, if somewhat forgettable, journey into some straight-up indie-pop.

best feeling is when someone recommends you something and its genuinely fantastic. which this is
this whole album has this amazing drifty drowsy feeling and its super intoxicating. every song had something interesting going on with it as well so they didn’t blend together
standouts: A Secret Message to You, Lie to Me, Just One Breath
