call me crazy but i fuck with this so unbelievably hard. i feel like until this song, pale waves has always been discount The 1975. and i enjoyed them quite a bit before hand. this song really sounds like something i would have heard on the radio as a kid in the early to middle 2000s. that kind of punchy pop rock. it's so satisfying.

The goth-pop labelmates of The 1975 and Rina Sawayama are back and they seem to have pivoted away from the sleeker synthpop sounds to more of a Beabadoobie-esque throwback alt sound, and I’m not sure it works.
