Running with Scissors

This is a strong showcase of Janet's talents, while I do personally prefer the more rough mixes in Hide and Seek, this album shows a more cohesive and more radio friendly production. The one issue I have with this album is that it feels like a repackaging of Hide and Seek, but they left out the best song, 'Crown of Thorns', and a decade later I'm still upset about this, we were robbed of a new mix for that gem. Personal favourite track: Whisky Lullabies.
