Function

A swift and unhesitating club project that outside of a few tracks doesn't really provide much character or identity. The repetitive "Let's Move" adlib is suitable but gets jarring way too quickly. Still, DELAHAZE has a murky, jungle vibe that succeeds in being unsettling, and crucially something more than regular underground footwork. MTL HARDCORE too is a cut above the rest, shame that at least a few more of the six remaing tracks didn't inspire much.
