So I checked this out due to a retweet from Doni on Twitter, since he has very interesting recommendations and holy shit. Holy shit, this is easily runner up and maybe this is an AOTY contender?
The very atmosphere that oozes throughout this album is one of adept skill and sloppy yet lifelike and warm. The mixing is HEAVENLY. Messy rap that comes off as amateur because everything is so inconsistent (except for the album’s atmosphere). It’s like a weird flex showing how they can make decent music with very little effort.
