RFC Records accidentally mailed this to me in a bulk order and I was pleasantly surprised. I had heard the self titled album from Starry Cat but I had no clue who Boy Crush was. Surprisingly, I found the songs by Boy Crush to be msot enjoyable. If anyone knows where I can find more music of his, let me know.
Both bands are artists that i've personally enjoyed a shit ton, but on this EP they both underperform pretty hard. Vocals are pretty sloppy, songwriting is very repetitive and the lofi recording on this specific project is so dogshit that it actively makes the songs worse than they would be. It's just very mediocre.
Best songs: Creep, What We Want, (Cool Version),
Meh songs: Candy, Crystal, Hello, Kyle Shwander is Dead

It was just kinda mediocre, after listening to starry cat I expected something better but it was just ok, boy crush half wasn’t as good as the starry cat half though
