Straddling the unusual precipe of downtempo electronica and country, Daughn Gibson's debut seemingly came out of nowhere. He signed to Sub Pop on the strength of this album but has never quite matched the unbridled neon cowboy soul or post-rave truck driver methadone fuelled feels of this super underrated gem. A smouldering slow burn.
