This album should have been the one Frampton released after his major success with ‘Frampton Comes Alive’, rather than the innocuous pair of releases which preceded it. Yet, part of the reason it failed to deliver commercial success was the date of its release as by that time the music scene had moved on from acoustic rock, and his career had lapsed from his mind-Seventies heyday.
