Oh my god I have never had a ‘WAIT THATS THAT SONG???’ moment as drastic as I did hearing ‘You’re Not Alone’ on this record, what an absolute fucking TUNE.
The rest of the album is pretty great too, some really solid peak trip hop stuff. Honestly an essential listen in that space that I’m surprised isn’t talked about more, im only aware of this record from its recent 2026 RSD Repress (which I’m almost certainly copping asap).
i thoroughly enjoyed this laid-back and orchestral trip hop moment. i wish that Olive leaned more into the breakbeat style present on songs like Curious, but overall the dance and trance influence that's sprinkled throughout the album really separates it from other trip hop albums that i've heard.
