this reminds me a lot of elvis presely's ballads for some reason, it's not really the most engaging body of work - especially after you hit the 20 song mark but it is a collection after all. while i was pretty moved by some tracks, the subject matter also got super repetitive/tired after while.

Patsy Cline was my grandma’s favorite singers, and there are songs on “The Ultimate Collection” that I’m sure I’ve heard a million times, partly because of that, but also partly because these versions from Cline are iconic, classic songs at this point. Songs like “Crazy,” South of the Border (Down Mexico Way),” and “She’s Got You” are undeniable greats, and some of the greatest country songs ever written.
