i love a good soul album, but the first few songs were headache inducing. i think the reason for the iffy parts of this album is the microphone quality, which therefore makes it sounds louder than it has to be… but it really picked up halfway through then kinda dropped the ball during the last few tracks

This is a greatest hits album, so I must first state that is cheating. Now that I have said that, I must admit I know very little about Tina Turner and the specifics of her life but I am pretty sure Ike was an abusive husband to her, so that puts a damper on this album...
