On one hand, people take a band that’s always been tongue in cheek and openly taking the piss way too seriously and I want to meet their “just having fun” spirit half way. while the highlights aren't as strong as they are on WANT or Streets Of Gold, there are some REAL bangers on here.
LONELY MACHINES is a great track & LAST BREATH is the best opener i've heard from the band.
this album is more consistent, as the slow songs on this album are actually good parodies! I'M SO SAD & SKID MARKS are genuinely pretty funny.

Sheesh... Yeah, while trying to recapture the nostalgia from WANT, NEED is a failed experiment that tries to be so much something else that feels distatched from it's own creators. Only 100 gecs managed to save some aspect of this album.
