This is such a beautiful album. It truly feels like a hiking trip. I love the nature samples and just the whole nature atmosphere Alda conveyed. Highly recommend this for atmospheric black metal fans

A Distant Fire continues to further build upon Alda's existing sound, and they manage to somehow bring their music to an even higher standard. While Alda's formula of atmospheric black metal has remained mostly the same since their first album, they still manage to make each album feel like a continuation of the last and not like they're simply rehashing old ideas.
