This is Meredith's strongest album. After the surprise success of "Bitch", Meredith sunk further into her jaded views and took more creative control, playing lead guitar and contributing to all of the songs (with the exception of her cover of "Lay Down, Lay Down", originally by Melanie). She was clearly out to prove her diversity with the release of "Lay Down, Lay Down" which features an awkward Queen Latifah on an already awkward cover. The original is sweet but ... read more
