Sonescent is easily the most avant-garde work Johnson has composed so far, and whether or not the listener is familiar with her previous recordings, it'll take at least a full listen or two to adjust to the album's structure and arrangement.

Just randomly saw this cover and thought it looked cool. This is a very unusual LP. Its not entirely music. Its music under this thick layer of sound and listening to it just feels so beyond everything. Its mysterious, creepy but so amazingly transcendent and the fact its only split up into two songs just makes it even more interesting.
