Though Headlines! may seem like a rushed, mashed-together excuse for an album, it is still thoroughly entertaining and fun: an album of this quality, if it had a few more tracks, would easily have been their strongest album yet.

Headlines is partially saved by its brief running time, but when your (or whoever’s) music is already running out of steam at the 20 minute mark, some reconsidering needs to be done.

It’s good, but that’s also in part to them including three songs from their last album. I can’t find an explanation for why they did this, but only found myself agreeing with critics on their need for more consistency. They’re staying solid with girl group pop as their main image, but this EP is confusing. The music is good and most of the new tracks are replayable. My favorites are Higher and Died In Your Eyes.
