When it’s at its best, Wordshaker could be the work of Girls Aloud. But there’s still an area that The Saturdays have yet to master – the ballad.

AllMusic
This sophomore sampling does a brilliant job of keeping this pop group afloat as pop singers, but it doesn't do enough to make them definitive, which was the Saturdays' biggest challenge going into this record.

One song in, and they’ve already largely improved from their entire first album. Their vocals have improved so much and the group work is quite amazing. The production, while still dated, is fun and more dance oriented. It’s more cohesive, and is overall a good album. A few highlights are Forever Is Over, Here Standing, Denial, and Lose Control.
