this album marks a considerable shift in weber's catalogue. the absence of drums give these tracks a slow, nocturnal feel, while the absence of rainer bruninghaus on piano changes the sonic palette considerably. the interplay between all the musicians is tight and sensitive, and the compositions are all gorgeous.
