I was really looking forward to this one since Eye the Tide made my Best of 2018 list, but I was really disappointed in how this turned out. Spaceslug are at their best when they go all-in on guitar pedal effects and ride cymbals, which forms this colorful wave of stoner metal goodness for several minutes at a time.
