Lyrically Nick Leng’s second album SPIRALS, has the 29-year-old expressing the notes he scribed in his journal whilst living in a trailer park in Topanga. The apprehensive thoughts that were spiralling around his head and how he used this experience and the environment around him to become joyfully reborn.
Pretty nice vibe and textures in the instrumentals with that great piano playing and electronic bits, surprisingly engaging!

The more you listen, the more you like it, really, this is a solid album, a cocktail of rhythms and emotions perfectly balanced.
Nick Leng continues to impress with many layers of vocals and instrumentals. Sometimes you're in the clouds, and sometimes you're thrown into a MIKA-esque experience like the back half of Spirals. This sounds jarring but it flows surprisingly well.
