Beddy Rays are an Australian band who have been steadily releasing singles over the past couple of years and slowly building up enough material for a full album, this debut album is self-titled.
The opening three tracks are pretty good ‘Wait A While got radio play here and featured in a small yearly countdown that we run with friends here in Melbourne & Brisbane. Week On Repeat may even be a slightly better track but FOTU is a little underwhelming 6/10

The melodies are just incredibly catchy and the charisma from the lead vocalist is incredibly engaging. The instrumentation is not incredibly complex but it is incredibly serviceable for the style of upbeat cheery rock reminiscent of 90's californian pop rock bands that they are producing
