Eastern ambient music that draws out clear influences from Tim Hecker's work, not necessarily bringing the sound and texture crafting to a new level of creativity and potency, but definitely impressing the listener with a few progressive ideas that add some spice in the recipe, which is far more than most ambient producers these days would do.
Agraph is thoroughly underrated. I really encourage anyone to listen to his 2010 album "equal". It's full of creative and satisfying mixing and production. This album is more on the ambient side of things, and really moody. Very calming and atmospheric along with the cathartic pop of Kensuke Ushio's earlier work.
